The EDI Analyst will own the day-to-day management, development, and troubleshooting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processes. This role requires strong accountability, the ability to independently manage a high-volume workload, and proactive communication across internal teams and external trading partners.
The EDI Analyst is expected to take full ownership of assigned tasks, drive issues to resolution without constant oversight, and ensure all work is properly documented and communicated.
Experience working with SAP integration platforms, including SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and Process Integration (PI), is highly desirable, particularly in environments supporting EDI and ERP connectivity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor, analyze, and take ownership of daily EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810), ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI processing errors, mapping issues, and data discrepancies with minimal supervision, including driving follow-ups internally and externally until resolution is achieved
Proactively manage and prioritize a high-volume workload, ensuring all assigned tasks and tickets are actively worked and updated on a consistent basis
Maintain accurate and timely updates in tracking systems (e.g., Jira), including clear documentation of progress, blockers, and next steps
Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Sales, Operations, Accounting) and external partners while taking responsibility for communication and follow-through
Onboard new trading partners and maintain existing integrations, including setup, testing, and validation of EDI transactions
Document EDI processes, configurations, and resolutions in a clear and standardized manner to support team visibility and continuity
Demonstrate the ability to independently research issues, utilize available documentation, and minimize unnecessary escalations
Ensure all EDI-related communications are properly tracked and organized for visibility across the team
Orchestration (PO) and Process Integration (PI), including monitoring message flows, resolving IDoc and mapping issues, and ensuring reliable data exchange between systems
