As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed.Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.You will perform assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection.You may transport patients and/or provide coverage for the unit secretary. Required Qualifications: State Issued (CA) Certified EMT or CNA BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications:One (1) year of experience in a healthcare settingExperience in emergency services
