Schedule: Full Time (40hrs/week)
The Emergency Department Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for clinical operations, care progression initiatives, staff development, and regulatory compliance across assigned emergency department locations. This position will lead the development and management of post-visit follow-up programs, initially focusing on orthopedic patients to improve continuity of care, patient outcomes, and specialty service growth. Responsibilities will expand to additional patient populations as processes mature and become standardized.
The supervisor serves as a clinical resource and educator alongside the Emergency Department Director. This role includes operational oversight between the main Emergency Department and Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED), ensuring consistency in practice standards, regulatory compliance in lab at FSED, and patient care throughout ED departments.
The position participates in rotating weekend administrative call coverage in partnership with the Emergency Department Director. Travel between Bentonville and Centerton, Arkansas.
