Job Description

Memorial Community Hospital, located in Blair, NE, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Provider to join our Emergency Department team in a PRN role. This role is open to board-certified Physicians, Physician Assistants, or Nurse Practitioners with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will:
• Maintain professional standards as a mid-level or physician practitioner.
• Perform all duties within the scope of MCH Medical Staff privileges or under supervision as an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Conduct thorough assessments and document findings to ensure accurate patient records.
• Perform physical examinations tailored to the patient’s complaint, age, sex, and condition.
• Develop initial clinical impressions based on history, physical exam, and diagnostic testing.

Qualifications
• Licensure: Current Nebraska license as a Physician, PA, or NP.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a provider.
• Certifications:
◦ Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
◦ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required or obtained within 90 days of hire
◦ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required or obtained within 90 days of hire
◦ Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Required or obtained within 90 days of hire
◦ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Must maintain active and good standing medical staff privileges at MCH.
