About the Team
The TikTok LIVE Ecosystem team's mission is to create a sustainable livestream ecosystem. We strive to ensure our users and creators a high quality experience on the platform. This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities
- Support content and ecosystem analysis by gathering data and surfacing key trends across moderation workflows.
- Assist in building and maintaining quality reporting pipelines, tracking moderation accuracy and consistency.
- Use LLM and analytical tools under guidance to investigate cases, conduct root cause analysis, and validate model reasoning.
- Help identify emerging risks, enforcement gaps, and policy inconsistencies across content verticals.
- Participate in cross-team and vendor calibration sessions on policy interpretation and quality standards.
- Contribute to small-scale initiatives aimed at improving ecosystem outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Undergraduate in a Quantitative, Analytical, Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, or related field.
- Comfortable working with data (Excel / Sheets);
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving mindset — able to break down complex issues into clear components.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Curiosity about content ecosystems, platform governance, and online safety.
- Exposure to LLM tools or interest in applying AI to policy analysis and operational improvement.
- Clear communication skills and eagerness to work across internal and vendor teams.
- Basic SQL or visualization skills are a plus.
