Join the Economic Stability and Self-Sufficiency team as a Supervisor and lead the daily operations of a parish or district office serving individuals and families in need. This role oversees staff who deliver critical financial and supportive benefits through programs such as SNAP, FITAP, Kinship Care Assistance, and STEP. The position offers the opportunity to guide staff performance, ensure accurate and timely benefit delivery, and manage complex federal and state program requirements—making a direct impact on community well-being while supporting program integrity and compliance.
Please note: Applicants must clearly describe their experience with specific Economic Stability, Medicaid programs, etc. and/or identify the section or unit in which they performed economic stability social services work (e.g., SNAP/Economic Stability, Child Care Assistance Program, Strategies to Empower People, Family Independence Temp Assistance, Medicare/Medicaid, etc.) within their job duties. Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR
An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
