These positions support the mission of the Unit to supply long term care through departmental programs by overseeing the execution of essential services and managing the delivery of state and federal economic assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, and Emergency Assistance/LIEAP. Economic Service Workers play a central role within the Unit by processing applications, determining eligibility, and maintaining caseloads for a variety of economic assistance programs. Economic Service Workers also serve as a key point of contact for clients to ensure provision of timely, accurate, and compassionate services and resources.
Training:Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
