Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st December 2027

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £40,777 (Level one) rising to £44,075 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Location: Loxley House, Station St, Nottingham. NG2 3NG

About the Role

We are recruiting two Economic Development Project Officers to support the delivery, monitoring and performance management of Economic Development projects and grant‑funded programmes. The roles involve working closely with delivery partners, grant recipients and internal services to help ensure projects are delivered effectively, represent value for money and achieve positive outcomes for Nottingham’s residents and businesses.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within an Economic Development environment, with an understanding of local and national economic challenges and their impact on individuals, communities and businesses.
  • Experience of supporting the delivery or management of projects or programmes, including monitoring performance, producing accurate and timely reports, managing risks, supporting budget monitoring and ensuring compliance with funding conditions.
  • Experience of working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support effective collaboration, strong relationships and the successful achievement of agreed outputs and outcomes.
