Join us as a Senior VP Economic Crime Senior Product Lifecycle Manager, where you will provide strategic business-facing leadership and advisory support across the development, launch, governance, and ongoing management of our product portfolio. In this role, you will assess and mitigate economic crime risks throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that new products and services meet regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements before approval and implementation. You will partner closely with Compliance, Risk, and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate emerging risks, define appropriate controls, and support robust product governance frameworks. Working collaboratively with Journey Labs and customer journey teams, you will help design and embed effective economic crime controls into new and existing processes, ensuring products are delivered in a safe, compliant, and customer-focused manner. You will also lead remediation initiatives, providing expert guidance to strengthen controls, address identified gaps, and maintain the ongoing integrity and effectiveness of the product set in line with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
To be successful as a Economic Crime Senior Product Lifecycle Manager, you must have the following essential skills
Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
Extensive first-line Economic Crime experience, with an expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks across business operations and products.
Considerable product management experience with the ability to provide expert advice and challenge on Business Banking products throughout the product lifecycle.
Proven experience within the Financial Services sector, with a ample understanding of Business Banking products, customers, and associated risk frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across diverse cross-functional teams and senior leadership groups.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK financial crime legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices relating to Economic Crime and risk management.
Exceptional influencing and execution capabilities, with a experience of driving outcomes and delivering strategic projects across complex cross-functional environments.

Recognised financial crime qualification (ICA AML Diploma, ACAMS, or equivalent)
