Our Adult Medical Assistance Ongoing team is looking for an Economic Benefits Supervisor to join one of our Eligibility teams! We’re looking for an emotionally intelligent, positive, and motivated leader who enjoys developing employees, solving problems, and creating a supportive culture where staff feel valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of five Eligibility Specialists, one Lead Worker and 2 Resource Navigators. These teams work directly with individuals, families and community partners who are pursuing Long-Term Care Services, Adult Financial Benefits and Food Assistance. You’ll provide coaching, guidance, and operational support while helping your team meet goals and provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused service.
Your day-to-day work will include Conducting one on ones, motivating team members to meet their goals, facilitating team meetings, troubleshooting cases, conducting data analysis, relaying impactful feedback, responding to communications timely, creating efficient business processes, and working with leadership at all levels. You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate with community partners to strengthen services and improve outcomes for the families we serve.

Hiring Range: $68,800.00 - $72,800.00 Annually
Anticipated Hiring Range: $71,146.40 Annually
This position has an anticipated work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Hybrid schedule may be available upon successful completion of the initial evaluation period; subject to change.

Supervises the planning, organizing, monitoring, and training of a variety of benefit programs, including but not limited to: Health First Colorado (formerly Medicaid), Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP), Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps), Colorado Works, Adult Financial, and Long-Term Care. Delegates and oversees special projects and activities. Employment is subject to the terms, conditions, and policies detailed in the Personnel Policies Manual (PPM). This position requires regular in-person presence as an essential job function.
Supervision Exercised: This classification requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees or unit(s) including providing input on hiring/disciplinary action and work objectives/ effectiveness, performance evaluations, and realigning work as needed. A first-line or second-line supervisor typically performs these tasks.
Supervision Received: Receives administrative supervision. This classification typically performs job duties and resolves conflict according to their own judgment and initiatives, requesting supervisory assistance only when necessary. Special projects are managed with little oversight, and assignments may be reviewed upon completion. Performance reviewed periodically.
Duties are primarily performed in a high-volume office and remote work environment dependent on business needs; some travel within the community may be required. May be exposed to clients in stressful situations. May be required to work evening and weekend hours.
