Job Summary

The Specialist, eCommerce Site Merchandising owns the customer-facing experience of our eCommerce site, combining on-site merchandising, customer experience optimization, platform fluency, and data-driven decision-making, to drive product discovery, engagement, and conversion. This role manages the full shopping journey — from homepage layout and category structure to promotional execution, campaign landing pages, and merchandising performance.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • A high-performing, customer-first shopping experience that is accurate, easy to shop, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Measurable improvements in conversion rate, AOV, engagement, site usability, product discoverability, shopping friction, and sell-through.
  • Timely, on-brand execution of homepage, category, promotional, pricing, and merchandising updates.
  • Site performance, user behavior, and merchandising data are used to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
  • A/B tests, site experience enhancements, mobile improvements, and landing page updates are supported with clear hypotheses and integrated into the site when successful.
  • Site issues, content gaps, and functionality problems are identified early and resolved quickly through cross-functional partnership.
  • Competitive insights are translated into practical improvements to the SuperATV shopping experience.

Primary Duties

  • Own and optimize the customer-facing eCommerce experience across homepage, category, product listing, product detail, promotional, and campaign landing pages.
  • Execute site merchandising strategies that support revenue, conversion rate, AOV, engagement, product sell-through, brand storytelling, and business priorities.
  • Build, merchandise, manage, and QA homepage content, category pages, campaign landing pages, promotions, coupons, pricing updates, merchandising rules, and on-site messaging within Adobe/Magento/Shopify.
  • Optimize product presentation, category structure, navigation, filtering, sorting, site search, merchandising rules, Dynamic Yield personalization, and cross-sell opportunities to improve targeting, discoverability, and the shopping journey.
  • Analyze site performance, user behavior, conversion data, and merchandising results using tools such as GA4 and Mouseflow to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
  • Support test-and-learn opportunities, including A/B tests, merchandising experiments, UX enhancements, mobile optimization, and landing page improvements.
  • Partner with marketing, product, pricing, content, and development teams to translate commercial priorities, promotional plans, inventory needs, and customer insights into clear on-site execution.
  • Research competitive site experiences and eCommerce merchandising best practices to inform future improvements.

Education / Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce UX or merchandising.
  • Experience in a customer-facing business such as a retailer or brand.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify).
  • Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience using site search platforms, Dynamic Yield or other A/B testing/personalization tools, CMS tools, merchandising tools, analytics platforms, and light HTML/CSS.
  • Strong attention to detail with a blend of customer-first and performance-oriented thinking.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across marketing, content, eCommerce, and technical teams

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
