While receiving leadership support from the Ecommerce Store Team Leader, the Ecommerce Shipping Specialist advances our mission by packaging and shipping all online orders within a designated time frame. The Ecommerce Shipping Specialist will align service delivery in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, values and brand of Goodwill NCW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weigh, package, label, and ship items using both Fed Ex and USPS software and guidelines.
  • Monitor packing supplies and keep your work area clean and safe.
  • Achieve personal goals to maintain proficiency standards from performance reviews.
  • Follow safety and security requirements.
  • Works M-F Day schedule set by supervisor in support of department.
  • Always maintain a professional demeanor while adhering to established dress code.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including production area.
  • Complies with all GNCW policies, including, but not limited to, reporting theft or misuse of company property or other illegal activities.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements

  • At least a basic level of competency with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of how to process inventory and ship product.
  • Skilled at organization, prioritization, and planning work to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Must possess a positive work attitude.
  • Willing to work independently within a small team.
  • Leadership skills or experience working with volunteers and/or Goodwill clients preferred.

  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment.
  • Primary function requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a production setting; to sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 pounds.
  • Verbally communicate to exchange information.
