Role: eCommerce Marketing Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's in-house team embedded as an Ecommerce Operations Manager delivering smooth, well-run e-commerce activity for UK customers.

Great e-commerce depends on the detail behind the page: accurate content, the right stock and launches that run to plan. Based in Weybridge, with four days on site and one day working from home, you'll work alongside the e-commerce team to coordinate operations, promotions and product launches. Your organisation and analysis will improve efficiency and the customer experience, supportingcommercial priorities.

We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.

THE ROLE

You'll work as a natural extension of the e-commerce team, sharing responsibility for its priorities and objectives, while remaining an OLIVER employee and representing OLIVER's standards, values and ways of working. You'll deliver day-to-day operations and e-commerce content workflows independently, and use performance data to recommend practical improvements. You'll work across creative, production, technical and commercial teams, and step in wherever priorities require it. Your success will be measured by smooth delivery, sound stock decisions and strong relationships with OLIVER colleagues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support day-to-day e-commerce operations alongside the team, including order processing, shipping logistics, inventory management and customer service
  • Coordinate e-commerce delivery, promotions and product launches, managing multiple projects, priorities and approval routes at the same time
  • Manage content workflows across product pages, landing pages, promotional content and digital assets
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain the right stock levels, meeting customer demand while keeping inventory costs low
  • Track and analyse KPIs across e-commerce operations to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities
  • Turn data insights into clear recommendations, and put in place improvements that increase efficiency and productivity
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives across e-commerce functions
  • Partner with creative, production, technical and commercial stakeholders and OLIVER, building trusted relationships at all levels
  • Raise risks and issues early, with a proposed solution
  • Make sure operations comply with industry regulations, data protection and privacy policies, protecting customer information
  • Support colleagues across role boundaries, including ad-hoc tasks, when business priorities change
  • Represent OLIVER's standards and values while working as part of the team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proficient capability in e-commerce operations, digital project management, production operations or a related discipline
  • Experience coordinating e-commerce delivery, promotions and product launches
  • Good working knowledge of e-commerce content workflows, including product pages, stock management and forecasting, landing pages, promotional content and digital assets
  • Understanding of content management systems, digital asset management and web-publishing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and approval routes at once, and to see work through to completion within tight deadlines
  • Experience collaborating with creative, production, technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and the wider Microsoft 365 suite, with confidence analysing performance data
  • Clear, honest and constructive communication, including flagging potential issues early
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, trading requirements and stakeholder needs
  • Discretion when handling confidential or commercially sensitive information
  • Curiosity about products, customers, commercial priorities and internal processes

GEN AI & AGENTIC THINKING

  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to e-commerce operations, to improve output quality and efficiency
  • Experience building personal AI workflows, for example to speed up reporting, content checks or process documentation
  • An agentic approach to problem-solving: breaking down complex delivery challenges into clear steps
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply human judgement
