About the role

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Omni Ecommerce specialist to Execute, Monitor and optimize paid search campaigns across a variety of major retailers including Target, Walmart, Krogers, and other key ecommerce platforms. This role involves managing and executing digital advertising strategies to enhance visibility, drive traffic, and increase sales for our products within the ecommerce environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with retail-specific search advertising, performance marketing, and data-driven decision-making.

The ecommerce media specialist will be responsible for executing day-to-day operations related to ecommerce paid Search on eRetailer platforms. This includes bidding, dashboarding, and ensuring the successful implementation of campaigns under the guidance of the eCommerce Operations Director.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive search advertising strategies across major ecommerce retailers (e.g., Target, Walmart, Kroger, etc.).

  • Ensure alignment of advertising goals with overall business objectives, focusing on increasing product visibility, sales, and ROI.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in retail media and search advertising.

  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns (including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and other ad formats) on major retailer platforms.Regularly monitor and adjust bids, keywords, and targeting strategies to drive optimal performance.

  • A/B test ad creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies to improve ad performance

  • Analyze campaign performance using retailer-specific analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Walmart Media, Target Roundel, Krogers Media, etc.).

  • Provide regular reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.

  • Use insights to recommend changes to campaign strategies and tactics for continued optimization.

  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring funds are allocated in the most efficient way to maximize returns.

  • Forecast and plan for quarterly and annual ad spend, tracking budget performance across all ecommerce platforms.

  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, merchandising, and product management to align ecommerce advertising efforts with product launches and promotions.

  • Collaborate with external retail partners and agencies to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and partnerships.

Retailer-Specific Knowledge & Best Practices

  • Develop deep expertise in the nuances of advertising on each retailer’s platform (e.g., Target, Walmart, Krogers) to leverage platform-specific features and optimize ad performance.

  • Understand the retailer-specific shopper behavior and how to target specific customer segments effectively.

Innovation & Trend Spotting

  • Continuously explore new tools, platforms, and advertising techniques that can drive better results across omnichannel and retail platforms.

  • Track competitor strategies and industry developments to stay ahead of trends in ecommerce search advertising.

About you:

Qualifications

  • Experience

    • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce search advertising, with a focus on major retailers like Walmart, Target, Krogers, Amazon, or similar.

    • Strong understanding of retail media networks and digital advertising formats (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.).

  • Skills

    • Proficient in retail-specific platforms (e.g., Walmart Media, Target Roundel, Krogers Media) and Ads.

    • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance marketing data, including the use of tools like Analytics, Excel, and other reporting platforms.

    • Expertise in campaign optimization, A/B testing, and budget management.

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (preferred).

  • Soft Skills

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

    • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with managing large-scale retail media accounts.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in ecommerce, including AI, automation, and programmatic advertising.

  • Experience with Amazon Advertising or other similar ecommerce platforms.
