Job Category: RetailThe E-Commerce Lister thoroughly examines each product to determine the correct condition, manufacturer, and other pertinent criteria. The Lister also takes detailed, clear, and appropriate photos, and writes concise, appealing and accurate descriptions necessary to list items on the best online platform available. The position is a member of the Retail Team.
Specific Duties
- Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.  Must possess professional etiquette.
- List items for sale on appropriate software platforms through clear, appealing, and accurate descriptions. Ensure that daily production goals are achieved and communicate to supervisor if sufficient number of items are not available.
- Makes appropriate distinction of condition of items, as well as notation of any flaws, potential flaws, or unspecified testing.
- Honestly and accurately photograph, edit, describe, and post processed items online.
- Ensure proper storage of listed items, and ensure accurate and safe storage for wares. This includes keeping the storage room in an organized order.
- Relay any missing information to E-Commerce processors and management.
- Ability to make independent judgment decisions.
- Ensure all information on E-Commerce slips are included in the listing.
- Package processed wares to ensure pieces for listings remain intact and protected from damage during handling.
- Keeps work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.
- Regular attendance is required.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
- Must have the ability to make independent judgment decisions.
- Must have and maintain a positive attitude.
- Vast knowledge of household items, along with the desire to continue learning.
- Basic knowledge of safety and caution with unknown items and/or variables.
- Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to engage in prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking.
- Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
