ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through a friendly and courteous behavior.
• Keep a clear standard of communication in the eCommerce ordering process. Maintain communication records and reports as outlined in the eCommerce protocol.
• Operate cash register and perform all related checkout procedures in a fast, efficient, and accurate manner. Implement all related security and cash drawer accounting procedures as outlined by company policies and as directed management.
• Exhibit proficiency in using the hand scanner and tablet required to pick items for eCommerce orders as outlined and trained.
• Know proper bagging techniques for guest purchases and apply them in a fast and efficient manner in compliance with recommended company procedures.
• Provide professional example for other store team members to follow.
• Possess knowledge of all product locations throughout the store.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Maintain knowledge of current produce codes, fresh meat and grocery items, and have ability to select quality products for guests.
• Possess knowledge and follow all ID policies on tobacco and/or alcohol purchases.
• Maintain productivity standards per company guidelines.
• Complete all responsibilities within company guidelines and procedures as directed by eCommerce Supervisor.

Minimum Age: 16 Years

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
