We are looking for a Product Content & Transformation eCommerce Business Manager to join our eCommerce UK team on a 12 Month FTC (maternity cover). Based onsite from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!

The Role:

As the Product Content & Transformation eCommerce Business Manager, you will be the driving force behind our product content strategy and transformation, using AI and automation to revolutionise our global onboarding processes.

You’ll step into a key role within the NEXT eCommerce Department, taking the charge for getting products live across UK and international sites while smashing ‘time to live’ KPIs. By spearheading the NEOS development roadmap and collaborating with Trade and Development teams, you will turn bold ideas into scalable realities. Your mission is to bridge the gap between technical innovation and commercial success, perfecting the customer journey to directly amplify sales and funnel performance.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Lead and manage a team of product content & optimisation specialists based in the UK, and also an offshore admin team based in India.
  • Manage the product onboarding process, and are therefore the expert, of product content and all the features that encompasses (titles, tone of voice, imagery, attribution etc.)
  • Ensuring product descriptions and titles are optimised for both customer journey and also GEO and SEO traffic is a key responsibility, along with ensuring imagery and video content are of high quality and drive customer engagement, and always striving for perfect product attribution.
  • Drive process efficiencies via AI and automation tools improving the time to live and content quality.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining QA dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics, communicating to wider stakeholders issues such as SLA impacts and greenwashing claims.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience of working within an eCommerce leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of product content and onboarding processes.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams and managing relationships with third-party platforms and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using eCommerce platforms and analytics tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and implement data driven strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience and a customer centric mindset.
