About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Accounting Specialist to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. This role will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, with a focus on ecommerce transactions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments
Track accounts receivable, record deposits, and monitor overdue payments
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Reconcile transactions from ecommerce platforms and payment processors
Record fees, refunds, chargebacks, and settlements accurately
Maintain bookkeeping and journal entries in QuickBooks Online
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
Support sales, returns, and margin tracking for ecommerce channels
Maintain spreadsheets for tracking sales, expenses, and settlements
Qualifications:
Required
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and spreadsheets
Experience with ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, eBay)
Preferred
Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting
Basic understanding of sales tax compliance
Strong Excel skills and process improvement mindset.
