General Warehouse Associate

Position: General Warehouse Worker

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse, All Departments

General Warehouse Worker I:

This position may be asked to perform the duties of a picker, container unloader, shipping divert worker or jam breaker or other positions in the warehouse. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience with forklifts, pallet riders, or pallet jacks is a plus
• Warehouse experience (1 year preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for the entire shift
• Ability to stand, stoop, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks regularly
• Comfortable working in hot summer and cold winter conditions
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions using common sense
• Ability to work flexible hours and alternate shifts with limited notice
• Basic math skills ( add, subtract, multiply, divide; calculator use helpful)
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow standard procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; move products to assigned locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders ensuring accuracy and quality
• Use RF scanners (RF gun) for picking, receiving, and inventory tasks
• Stack, build, and shrink wrap pallets for shipping
• Place boxes on pallets or conveyor systems and handle freight movement
• Pull product using pick labels and support shipping divert operations
• Operate pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support additional warehouse functions and departments as needed
