Within the Group Technical Department, you will contribute to the development, deployment and continuous improvement of Nexans’ Life Cycle Assessment, Product Environmental Profile (PEP) and ecodesign activities. You will act as a technical referent for LCA/PEP methodologies, environmental data management and related tools, supporting Nexans units worldwide in assessing, communicating and reducing the environmental footprint of products.
In this role, you will interact with factory teams, product managers, engineers at the Nexans R&D Center, QHSE, purchasing, marketing and sales networks.
As part of your missions, you will be responsible for:

Duration: Permanent Contract (CDI)
You hold an engineering degree or a Master’s degree in materials science, chemistry, environmental science or a related field, ideally complemented by a specialization in ecodesign, environmental management or life cycle assessment.
You have at least 5 years of experience in LCA and EPD/PEP development, gained within an industrial company, consultancy or programme operator environment. You are familiar with LCA and ecodesign methodologies and are able to use LCA software and environmental assessment tools with autonomy.
Knowledge of PEP/EPD regulatory frameworks, product category rules and applicable standards such as EN 15804+A2, IEC 63366 and PEP ecopassport rules would be a strong asset.
