We are looking for an experienced ECM/DMS Consultant to support a large-scale digitalization initiative in a public sector environment. You will join an international project for a German public sector client — a major municipal administration. The role focuses on the design, implementation and rollout of the electronic file management solution, including process optimization and organizational change support. Delivery follows a structured, phase-based model — scoping, requirements assessment, solution design, piloting, phased rollout and stabilization — using a set of reference workflows to create early, visible benefits and simplify scaling to further areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to end users of the ECM - electronic document workflow system
• Design, build and configure new document workflows
• Analyze and optimize document management processes
• Monitor and track changes within the system
• Prepare and deliver training sessions for end users
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ECM tools and electronic document workflow
• Support change management and user adoption activities

Requirements

• Experience with electronic document workflow — hands-on knowledge of electronic document management / workflow systems and their implementation.
• Public sector experience — involvement in delivering projects for public administration / public sector institutions.
• Strong command of German — level B2+ — enabling fluent client communication and the ability to run workshops.
