Jefferies is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its Equity Capital Markets Syndicate team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing investment banking professional to become part of one of the most active and entrepreneurial ECM franchises in Europe. Working alongside senior syndicate professionals, ECM bankers, sales teams and institutional investors, you will play a key role in the execution of high-profile equity transactions across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of a broad range of ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, accelerated bookbuilds, block trades and convertible offerings.
• Assist with transaction structuring, investor targeting, bookbuilding and pricing analysis.
• Monitor market activity, investor sentiment and equity capital markets trends across Europe.
• Prepare execution materials, valuation analysis and investor feedback reports.
• Work closely with sector coverage teams, sales, trading and research to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
• Support client relationship management and participate in origination initiatives across the ECM platform.

Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of relevant experience gained within ECM, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of equity capital markets and transaction execution.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
