Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations and assist cardiologists in the evaluation of cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler echocardiography examinations.
- Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) according to clinical requirements.
- Obtain high-quality cardiac images and measurements for physician interpretation.
- Assist cardiologists during specialized echocardiographic procedures where required.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Perform appropriate measurements and preliminary technical assessments.
- Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment and report technical issues promptly.
- Ensure proper patient identification, documentation, and maintenance of examination records.
- Assist with stress echocardiography and other advanced studies where trained.
- Follow infection-control, radiation-free imaging, patient-safety, and facility protocols.
- Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Dubai healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and continuing professional development.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a relevant field.
- Relevant professional experience as an Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in echocardiography preferred.
- Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility for Echocardiography Technologist, as applicable.
- Experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
