What You'll Do:
Determines priority for timely completion of tasks. Delivers direct and indirect therapy and tests as directed by physician and in accordance with the objective and policies of the hospital. Consults with the physician on unusual issues or policy decisions.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Days. 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing echo and stress echo tests in a timely manner and with professionalism toward the patient and their family
• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of dictation of tests preformed
• Responsible for maintenance of crash carts and ordering of supplies as needed
• Appropriate infection prevention, hygiene and personal appearance are practiced
• Demonstrates good customer service skills and communicates and works effectively with others
Requirements:
• Current Echo Cardiographer Certification through ARDMS as RDCS. RVT and RDMS would be accepted with previous echo experience or certification through CCI as RCS, RCCS. RVS and CCT would be accepted with previous echo experience. Employees with appropriate training to fulfill echo tech responsibilities on or before 04/25/2017, will continue to qualify.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• Echo Tech Skills Lab annually by transcript due date.
