  • Previousexperience cooking for large groupsis beneficial

The Opportunity | Te Āheinga

This is a part time role supporting our team two days a week:

  • Preparing daily nutritious meals and snacks to fuel our tamariki for their busy days

  • Supporting older children to engage and help with kai preparation as part of their learning

  • Completing the weekly grocery shop and managing kitchen expenditure reports for the Centre Manager

  • Ensuring all early childhood regulationsregardingnutrition and safety are met consistently

  • Providing generalassistancerequired tomaintainthe effective operation of the centre when needed
