Job Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Receptionist for our Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center. The incumbent is to receive patients graciously. To schedule appointments and register patients as needed in an efficient and professional manner while obtaining accurate demographic and billing information necessary to effectively complete the registration process, either in person or by telephone and to assure proper collection of data for services rendered. Registration will include compliance check, insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute required.
• Proficient computer experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and work processing preferred.

• Previous experience of third-party payors - ICD9/ICD10 codes desired
