NOTICE OF VACANCY—SERVICE PERSONNEL

Position Title:

• Extracurricular Position
• Bus Operator for After-School Program
• 1 Position available
• Job Description:
• Tuesday and Thursday only, dependent upon student participation.
• Transport students to and from school
• These routes are approximate and may be either extended, shortened, or changed, depending on student enrollment.
• Should, for some unforeseen reason, the program be shortened to less than two days per week or to fewer weeks, drivers will be paid for the days they drive.
• If during the course of the program, there are not a sufficient number of students on a specific run, that run will be discontinued.
• Anticipated dates for After school program is November - April 2027 -This may change as the program is depending on student enrollment
• Some of these routes may be significantly lengthened at the discretion of the program director.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified School Bus Operator for the State of WV.
• Must be an employee of Mingo County Schools

Salary:

• $30 per day on days driven. Regardless of seniority.

Effective Date:

• Upon Hire
• Schedule based on program needs. If during the course of the program there is not a sufficient number of students, the program will be discontinued.

Deadline for Receipt of Application:

• Until filled

**Applicants who have unsatisfactory evaluations, have been dismissed or had their contracts non-renewed for cause by another school district will not be considered eligible for consideration
