Job Description

As an EBA TechnicalBusinessAnalyst in Software Engineering at Cincinnati Children’s, you will play a key role in building and enhancing innovative web-based applications that power critical operations across the organization. From supporting end-to-end testing to driving user adoption, you will be at the center of deliveringtechnologysolutions that make a real impact. You will gain hands-on exposure to Clinical and Operational software within Information Services, while developing a deep understanding of how technology drives success at every level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Has conceptual knowledge of theories,practicesand procedures within their discipline.

  • Follows the parameters of defined policies,proceduresand practices with guidance.

  • Analyze, design, support,maintain, enhance, and implement systems and solutions with low complexity thatimprovesthe business operations and employee experience of the medical center.

  • Works on projects and tasks with guidance and direction from more senior level team members.

  • Observe technical analysts and business systems analysts working with the end user community to learn how to develop requirements for system solutions.

  • Addressesproduction support, applicationconfigurationand enhancements with direction from senior level team members as needed.

Development

  • Conceptually understands how to analyze, design, implement, andmaintainsystems and procedures.

  • With guidance,assistsin system testing and technical documentation.

  • Observes Technical Reviews.

  • Utilizes Development lifecycle process and documentation to implement and support system solutions.

Production Support

  • Provides technical support and problem resolutionassistancefor production and process issues.

  • Seeksguidancetotroubleshoot and decipher error messages.

  • Assistswith theappropriate ChangeControl methods to implement system solutions.

  • Supports departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Monitors system performance and functionality to avoid potential issues as well as gathering information for future development needs or feasibility studies.

Customer Service

  • Provides end-user support.

  • Monitor SLA's andescalatesas needed.

  • Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.

  • Model outstanding customer service behavior, includingtimelyand effective follow-up with customers.

Miscellaneous

  • Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education.

  • Develop andmaintainpositive relationships.

  • Works well with others and fosters a positive team environment.

  • Participate in instructional seminars.

  • Continued development on Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 0+ years of experience in a related job discipline
