
Colorado Trout Unlimited (CTU) is looking for a part-time Eastern Regional Trout in the Classroom (TIC) Coordinators. This year-round position will work an average of 10 – 15 hours per week from Aug. - May and less during the summer months. As the Eastern TIC Coordinator, you fill a key role in the overall success of Trout in the Classroom (TIC) Program. You will help TIC Educators, Volunteers, and Chapter Leaders learn, prepare for, and understand TIC processes, equipment, maintenance, and the overall TIC program.
Colorado Trout Unlimited programs serve its members and the public, promote river conservation, and expand our reach and impact in Colorado. The TIC program in Colorado currently reaches over 20,000 students, educators, and community members. We have over 80 schools/sites currently participating in the TIC program and several others on our waiting list. The Regional TIC Coordinator positions will add additional capacity and support for the TIC program and allow us to grow in a sustainable way and increase our program impact.
The Eastern TIC Coordinator will work closely with the CTU Director of Education, Western TIC Coordinator, and the volunteer TIC Statewide Coordinator to support the educators, TU chapters, and partners who participate in the TIC program. This includes but may not be limited to:
