Nursery – Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery

Salary – Starting from £27,976 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours - 40 Hours Per Week | Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm

We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our lLittle Stars Nursery. The beautiful 63 place nursery is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is based in Didcot with onsite parking and good transport links. The nursery offers a wide range of extracurricular activities such as Forest School, and features well-resourced rooms and a spacious garden for lots of outdoor teaching and learning!

The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
