Schedule varies depending on need, there is an opportunity for 2 - 3 shifts/week Available between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Major Responsibilities and Abilities:

• Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with families, providing quality child care, excellent service and building meaningful relationships with the families we serve.
• Plan and implement a best practice childcare program based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
• Ensure adherence with the Manitoba Child Care Program licensing requirements and YMCA of Brandon’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain good communication with your supervisor, colleagues and families

Qualifications:

• Grade 12, must be 18 years or older
• Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry upon hire.
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Three professional references
