Join AIM - Inspired Education Group and be part of a leading global network of premium schools as a Teaching Assistant supports the Teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. This role involves working closely with students to provide individual or small group support, assisting with classroom management, preparing resources, and contributing to the overall well-being and academic progress of all pupils. The Teaching Assistant upholds SEP requirements, AIM’s curriculum, Inspired’s educational philosophy, and the school’s safeguarding standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning Support
● Assist the Teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
● Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
● Support differentiated instruction for all students and those with SEN, ELL, or gifted needs.
● Help integrate technology and resources into classroom activities.
● Supervise students safely during transitions, recess, meals, and other non-classroom times as
assigned.
● Encourage student independence and active participation in learning activities.
Assessment and Feedback
● Support the Teacher in monitoring student progress.

Pastoral Care and Classroom Management
● Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
● Support students’ social and emotional development.
● Follow safeguarding policies and report any concerns immediately.
● Assist in managing behavior effectively under the Teacher’s guidance.
● Model respectful and responsible behavior for students.

Collaboration and Professional Growth
● Work closely with Teachers, Coordinators, and other staff to support student learning.
● Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
● Contribute to team meetings and collaborative planning.
● Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet classroom needs.
● Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance classroom practice and school initiatives.
Parent and Community Engagement
● Assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining classroom resources and displays.
● Supervise students during any activities when needed.
● Help organize school events, assemblies, and enrichment opportunities.
