Nursery – Bright Horizons Englefield Green Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from: £13.45per hour

Hours- Monday-Friday 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm

Location – Egham, Surrey, TW20

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our nursery. Our lovely 72-place setting is Ofsted rated 'Good' and features well-resourced rooms, each one with direct access to their large garden and outdoor play area which the children can enjoy in all weathers for outdoor learning. The nursery is situated on the grounds of the Royal Holloway University, with free onsite parking, shops within walking distance and a short drive from Egham town centre.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
