HI, We’re Rachel and Lisa, Nursery Managers at St Peter and St Paul.

With over 40 years of combined experience in early years education, we both began our journeys as newly qualified practitioners straight out of college. Since then, we’ve grown into our leadership roles— Rachel proudly managing the Over 2’s for the past three years and Lisa leading the Under 2’s.

Our nursery offers a rich blend of indoor and outdoor learning experiences. Indoors, creativity and imagination are ignited in unique areas such as our ballpit ship, hot air balloon, and beach-themed zones—all designed to spark joy, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning.

About the role: 

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn.  Key activities include: 

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily 
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions 
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

Essentials:

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly

• Maximum of 40 minute drive by either car or public transport
