Rotational Engineering Program-Central and Eastern Europe

At Solar Turbines EAME, we are dedicated to attracting, retaining and developing the next generation’s talent. Our Rotational Engineers will have the opportunity to work on projects that impact on our business and the future of our company. The purpose of the program is to commence the development and training of the next generation of highly capable and highly competent engineers. This rotational program is aimed at recently graduated engineers.

Engineers on the rotational program will have the opportunity to complete up to six rotational assignments over a total duration of 18 months, including a combination of classroom, online and hand-on training. This rotational engineering program is designed to provide comprehensive training and exposure across multiple teams, each focusing on specific learning objectives and tasks to develop well-rounded engineering professionals.

Rotational assignments may include the following areas:

  • Product, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering in our Zebrak Product Center in Czech Republic
  • Test Engineering in Zebrak Product Center
  • Field Service Engineering – hands-on field experience either within or outside of Czech Republic
  • SPE (Solution, Platform, Engineered) department in Prague
  • Oil & Gas Project Applications Engineering (O&G PAE) in Prague
  • Customer Services Project Applications Engineering (CS PAE) in Prague

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have graduated within the previous three years with an engineering related university degree (or equivalent) and have obtained a final grade of a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel frequently and for prolonged time periods to Solar facilities and customer sites throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work safely and with little supervision in the field environment while maintaining a high degree of responsibility and professionalism.
  • Candidate shall be fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment.
  • Good IT skills are essential.
  • Possess a full EU valid driving license.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and as an individual.
