Job Description

The Talent Outreach Manager accelerates NetApp’s early‑in‑career hiring strategy by building high‑impact partnerships with top universities and non‑traditional talent sources. In this highly visible role, you serve as a NetApp ambassador—designing data‑driven outreach strategies, leveraging AI‑enabled tools, and delivering programs that strengthen our brand and build diverse candidate pipelines across internships and full‑time early in career roles.

Job Requirements

- Serve as the primary relationship manager for career centers, faculty, student organizations, and key campus stakeholders at partner schools throughout India and the APAC region
- Develop and implement university recruiting strategies based on market intelligence, AI-driven insights, and competitive benchmarking
- Build diverse talent pipelines by creating outreach initiatives that engage women and underrepresented groups early in their academic careers
- Plan and execute impactful events such as career fairs, tech talks, club activities, on-campus interviews, and virtual programs using digital tools to boost engagement and broaden reach
- Design and maintain school scorecards, dashboards, and ROI analyses using advanced analytics tools to optimize partnership strategies
- Monitor brand perception at target schools through surveys, focus groups, and sentiment analysis; collaborate with recruiters and program managers to transform insights into actionable plans
- Identify and track high-potential students using AI-enhanced sourcing tools and CRM systems to develop future-ready talent pipelines
- Lead core school ambassador teams including executive sponsors, alumni, and interns to ensure coordinated brand presence and sustained relationship management
- Oversee campus team preparation, event execution, and post-event reviews to guarantee consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Act as a relationship-focused liaison for internal stakeholders and external university partners to foster trust and smooth collaboration
- Support, plan, and drive the execution of NetApp’s apprenticeship program ensuring full compliance with Indian government regulations
- Travel as necessary to facilitate in-person recruiting and strengthen relationships

Education

- Previous university or college recruiting experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in planning, project management, and operational execution are essential and will be evaluated during the interview process.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders is important.
- Ability to work flexible hours according to event and campus schedules is necessary.
- Willingness to travel across India for multiple events during the year.
- Proven capability to leverage AI tools and data analytics to shape strategy and assess performance.
- Outstanding communication skills coupled with a passion for providing an exceptional experience to candidates and partners.
