The Role:

To commence in term 3, we are seeking an experienced and motivated ECT to work 1 day per fortnight (7.6 hours) on a Wednesday to cover the Educational leader time for the Director. They need to be able to work in a fun and energetic team, and lead the curriculum alongside another experienced ECT.

KU Newport is situated on the Northern Beaches and close to Newport Beach, there is a strong lens of sustainability and community engagement and the service seeks has an out the gate program that includes the beach and surrounding community.

Of course, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
