About The Service

KU Liverpool Preschool is a 50-place EXCEEDING rated preschool, close to public transport.

Operating Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm during NSW school terms, we strive to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where each child feels valued and nurtured.

We offer a play-based educational program that supports children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, fostering meaningful learning experiences in a warm, welcoming environment.

We support children through our preschool, small group and clinic programs.

As a registered NDIS provider, we offer clinical services for children with additional needs or a developmental delay/diagnosis. We offer small group and individual therapy sessions in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), which is an evidence-based intervention for children with autism.

About The Role 

We have a rare opportunity available for a fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join the team.

This role will see you working 7.6 hours every Monday & Tuesday, (8am-3:36pm) on a permanent part-time basis.

You will also be able to join our casual pool and pick up additional work on non-contracted days if desired.

About The Criteria

Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), you will need:

  • Experience in supporting children with high level support needs,

  • To be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays between 8am – 3:30pm.

Along with meeting the above criteria, you will also need:

  • Australian working rights

  • A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check

  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree

  • NESA Teacher Accreditation

  • A National Child Safety Training Certificate (through Geccko),

  • A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,

  • A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) with separate Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (22556VIC & 22578VIC) & CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
