The role
We’re seeking a qualified ECT to provide high quality education and care to our children on a maximum term contract to cover parental leave. This contract is until late January 2027. This role will see you guiding and leading practice and pedagogy and being a mentor for the Certificate III and Diploma Educators.
Our services operate above regulations, ratios and required qualifications. We pride ourselves on our child-focused philosophy and our practices that keep children and families at the centre of all we do. All breaks are paid, training opportunities are paid at overtime rates, and as a full time Educator, you’ll be entitled to approximately 8 weeks of leave per year (pro rata)– between annual leave, time off in lieu and concessional days (extra days off between Christmas and New Year’s Eve).
What you’ll need to apply
Qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Hold a current paid Working with Children Check.
Hold a current HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff.
High level problem solving skills, with confidence in responding to concerns and issues raised by families, and acting as an escalation point.
