Job Description

Instructional Assistant Early Childhood (16.5 hours per week) Outdoor classroom

Rate of Pay: Instructional Assistant $22.66 per hour per Paraeducator Agreement

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Work Week (16.5 hours per week): MWF 7:15 am -12:45 pm This is an OUTDOOR class at Otter Lake

Student Level- Early Childhood Preschool

Performs intermediate human support work providing classroom support for children in the early childhood program, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Early Childhood Education Supervisor and Lead Teacher.

Education and /or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with students birth to age 5.

Special Requirements:
Must hold an AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass the MN Parapro exam.
