Job Description

Prepare and assist with Early Childhood Programs, including Little Farmers Preschool. Assist with festivals and special events when necessary. Assist with the day-to-day operations of Farm Education programs if necessary.

This is a part-time permanent 30 hours per week position

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or similar degree with experience in Early Childhood Education or Outdoor Education
  • Two years of paid or volunteer experience working with children and the public.
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
  • Ability to meet acceptable background check standards, if required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Environmental Education.
  • Additional education and training in the field of education.
  • Additional education in the areas of agriculture, animal sciences, natural sciences, human development, and consumer sciences.
  • Additional teaching experience related to educational areas listed above.
  • Experience teaching subjects related to agriculture, animal sciences, natural sciences, human development, and consumer sciences.
  • Experience working in Outdoor Education

POSITION DETAILS:

Salary: $18.02 per hour

Schedule: NONEXEMPT – Reg: 30 Hours
