About Us

Connect Children and Families is a not-for-profit organisation supporting families across the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney.

At Bunya Early Childhood Centre, we’ve been a trusted part of the Winmalee community for over 30 years. We provide high-quality care and education for up to 54 children per day, aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our approach is child-led, inclusive, and grounded in strong relationships and community connection.

About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated Cert III-qualified educator to join our passionate and supportive team. This is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to a vibrant and innovative learning environment.

About You

We’re searching for a passionate educator who:

✔️ Has a Cert III of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

✔️ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications

✔️ Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check

✔️ Has a genuine love for working with children.

✔️ Understands developmental needs and embraces respectful, responsive practices.

✔️ Is enthusiastic about evidence-based teaching methods.

✔️ Communicates effectively, thrives in a team environment, and builds strong connections with families.

✔️ Is committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
