Rockhampton Children & Family Centre (CFC) provides comprehensive, locally responsive, and connected services that support child and parent/carer wellbeing. enhance positive child learning and development, and build parenting capacity. Due to an increase in funding, we have an opportunity to support parents and carers in achieving better developmental outcomes for children aged between birth and eight years in the Blackwater community.
About the Role
This role is based in Blackwater on either a full-time or part-time bases until the 30th of June 2026.
The Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC) aims to ensure that every child can develop to their full potential, have a smooth transition to school and become successful lifelong learners. As the ECC, you will improve pathways and connections for families to access early childhood education, health, and development services within their communities.
As an Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC), you are expected to be an active team member who provides a holistic approach to child development and learning for children within Blackwater and the wider Communities.

Bidgerdii Community Health Service is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled primary health care service, operating in the Rockhampton and Central Queensland region. The organisation is a bulk billing community controlled health service, managed by a Board of Directors who oversee and manage the strategic directions of the service.
Bidgerdii provide comprehensive primary health and well-being services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the Rockhampton and surrounding regions. Bidgerdii advocate for, and involve, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander community in primary health and well-being care. Bidgerdii collaborate with health and well-being partner agencies to enable integrated continuity of care for the community, and continue to work to contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health policy and program reform in Queensland.
