What You'll Do
As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to help create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Assisting with daily routines and transitions
- Working collaboratively with your teaching team
- Helping create a classroom where every child feels like they belong

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of children
- Must successfully complete all required state background clearances and licensing requirements
