Project Administration Intern / Construction Site Support Intern

location: Gryfino

Arcadis is currently providing construction supervision services for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Gryfino for PGE. To support the successful delivery of this strategic energy infrastructure investment, we are looking for ambitious students or recent graduates eager to gain practical experience on a large-scale construction project.

As a Project Administration Intern, you will work closely with an experienced Arcadis project team, including the Project Manager, Cost Manager, discipline engineers, and Planning/Scheduling specialists. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how large energy infrastructure projects are managed while supporting day-to-day site operations and collaborating with contractors and project stakeholders.

Role accountabilities:

  • Support the project team in the administration and coordination of construction site activities.
  • Assist the Project Manager, Cost Manager, engineers, and planners with ongoing project tasks.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Support the monitoring of project schedules, progress updates, and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure efficient information flow.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, site visits, and project-related logistics.
  • Track action items and help ensure timely follow-up on project activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining project records in accordance with Arcadis and client requirements.
  • Participate in site inspections and gain exposure to construction supervision processes.
  • Promote a safe working environment and support compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Student or recent graduate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in construction projects, energy infrastructure, or project management.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good command of Polish and English.
  • Availability to work from the project site in Gryfino.
  • Previous internship or construction-related experience is an advantage but not required.
