Your Job

We are looking for a talented Early Career (Junior) Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Molex team. Have you recently successfully completed your engineering studies and perhaps already gained some first professional experience in a technical environment? Are you looking for an attractive start in an international company with excellent development opportunities? Then you should not miss this opportunity.

This role will offer you fantastic learning opportunities: You will gain deep product and application knowledge, build a strong technical and commercial network, and grow your Sales Engineering career within the organization

Our Team

We are spread across several European countries. You will become part of a collaborative team that is open and respectful. You will be encouraged to take initiative, contribute ideas, and continuously develop both your technical and commercial skills.

What You Will Do

  • Understand end-customer technical requirements and applications and translate them into suitable Molex solutions. Provide technical information, documentation, samples, and application guidance, and convert customer needs into valuable business opportunities.
  • Support customers via inbound calls and emails, acting as a technical first point of contact for questions related to Molex products and solutions.
  • Actively follow up on exhibition and marketing leads and participate in marketing events (e.g. exhibitions, technical seminars, and marketing campaigns).
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to understand their role and support them with technical preparation, customer visits, and meetings.
  • Proactively contribute to campaigns and help prospect new business opportunities and markets with a strong application-focused mindset.
  • Collaborate with other relevant colleagues and departments (marketing, product management, engineering, etc.) to grow your network and gain a deep understanding of the Molex portfolio and ecosystem.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Strong technical foundation, with solid understanding of engineering principles and good knowledge of electronics and electromechanical components.
  • Ability to understand customer applications and discuss technical topics confidently with engineers and technical buyers.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and exchange information internally and externally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in exploring and creating new business opportunities through technical value creation.
  • Able to think “outside of the box” and apply modern, digital sales and prospecting tools (e.g. social media, digital platforms).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and build trust with customers.
  • Fluent communication skills in English; additional language additive.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Engineering is required, preferably in Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • First exposure to electronics, connectors, interconnect solutions, or industrial applications is an advantage.

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data.
