Adapt to children’s individual needs and respond to their interests in real time.
Child Supervision & Safety
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
Follow established health, safety, and emergency protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Collaboration & Communication
Work effectively with co-teachers and university students to maintain continuity in classroom routines.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, colleagues, and families.
Provide feedback on the day’s activities and any incidents to the program director.
Program Support
Assist in transitions, meals, and rest times as needed.
Support university students, interns, and observers as they engage in classroom experiences.
Follow all policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in child development or related field
Experience working in a childcare setting
Work Schedule/Hours
Substitutes will be utilized on an as-needed basis.
