Job Description

The Bosch EA-VN team, also known as the Occupant Safety Systems (OSS) team, is responsible for the development and production of airbag electronic control units (ECUs) at Bosch, works on various aspects of airbag technology, including sensors data, crash detection algorithms. We focus on designing advanced safety systems to protect vehicle occupants in the event of a collision, we collaborate with other teams within Bosch, such as hardware development, software engineering, and system testing, to ensure the reliable and effective operation of airbag systems.

Our team follows industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, to ensure the safety and compliance of our products.

Overall, our team plays a crucial role in developing cutting-edge safety solutions to enhance occupant protection and contribute to the overall safety of vehicles.

  • Meet & ensure customer specification & timing for application work packages (algorithm, calibration, vehicle integration)
  • Manage Requirement from analysis to acceptance
  • Process vehicle crash data from lab (measured by sensors and recorded during crash) into crash database for simulation.
  • Calibrate algorithm parameters to reach airbags deployment performance of customer requirement and regulation (CN-NCAP, EU-NCAP, ASEAN-NCAP,..) by Bosch internal tool.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with development process
  • Support project estimations for acquisition projects
  • Plan and manage resources
  • Control the cost according to the available budget
  • Report and discuss Calibration results with customer.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders (CN/JP).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical background in the automotive industry.
  • Basic experience/Knowledge on Algorithm or SW development.
  • Advanced knowledge on Physics/Dynamics motion.
  • Good management skills (Change management, configuration management, project management, requirements management).
  • Good time management skills and logical thinking.
  • Good Teamwork (open, willing to integrate and work in a team).
  • Fluent in English (Internal and external communication).
  • Japanese/Chinese language skills are preferred
