Job Description

The E&A Engineer role focuses on instrumentation, electrical, and automation execution within the factory. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • PLC troubleshooting and basic writing (reading required; writing is an advantage)
  • Instrument calibration execution based on preventive maintenance plans
  • Custodian of electrical and engineering compliance in line with Nestlé standards and Malaysian regulations
  • Monitoring and coordinating work assigned to third-party vendors and contractors

The role is fully on-site and supports factory operations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing, preferably FMCG / Food & Beverage
  • Experience in maintenance and factory operations preferred
  • With knowledge and experience in the following tools:
    • PLC
    • Electrical and wiring skills
    • Instrumentation and calibration
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Power transmission
    • Microsoft Office
    • Ability to read PLC logic; writing is an advantage
  • Hardworking, compliant, and disciplined
  • Strong safety and compliance mindset
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • People management capability
