Job Title: E2_ Structural Engineer 1,2,3

Location: Birmingham, AL(Remote)

Job Type: Contract 36 Months

·Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering Experience with analyzing steel connections.

·Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required. Proficient with MathCAD and STAAD Pro

·Working knowledge with ANSYS

·Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes

·Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required. Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications.

·Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public.

·Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing

Special Notes

·The individual will be expected to work in the office while onboarding and getting familiar with our process and procedures. After that time, they can work remotely.

·The candidate needs to reside approximately 1 hr. from the Energy Center.

·PPE Requirement : Hardhat, safety glasses and possibly steel toe shoes.
